Consortium Agreement
A consortium agreement is a written contract that allows students to receive federal financial aid from UT Austin for courses taken at another institution, a “visiting school”, that are transferable to their degree program. A student’s financial aid is based on the total enrollment hours between both schools.
Consortium Agreements are on pause for Spring 2025 as the University transitions to a new financial aid system. If you depend on a consortium agreement to complete your degree and graduate, please reach out to the Student Success Help Desk to discuss your options.
