- Be able to access available course materials through Canvas
- Pay for course materials online through the “What I Owe” page
- Opting out: Students will have until the end of the 12th class day to opt-out of the LTA program for designated courses. That date is Wednesday, September 7, 2022.
- Bill issued: If a student does not opt-out for the LTA materials, they will be issued a bill on Monday, August 29, 2022.
- Bill due date: Bill will be due on Monday, September 19, 2022.
*Students will receive communication via email and sms text concerning billing due dates.

Beginning June 8, 2022, you can access a breakdown of your LTA charges at https://utdirect.utexas.edu/apps/ais/longhorn_textbook_access/student/. You will still need to the pay the balance through What I Owe before the deadline to maintain access to the LTA materials.

University Co–op Course Material Scholarship
The University Co-op Book Scholarship is an initiative created in partnership with the University Co-op that is designed to reduce the cost of digital textbooks and other course materials for eligible students.
The University Co-op Course Material Scholarship is provided as a textbook credit that is offered on an annual basis depending on a student’s eligibility and funding. Recipients of the University Co-op Course Material Scholarship will receive a textbook credit to purchase digital and hard copies of course materials from the University Co-op, including textbooks, school supplies, and lab equipment needed for classes. Eligible students will receive an email with further details on how to utilize the credit, and will see a financial aid placeholder on their Financial Aid Notice (FAN). These funds do not disburse to the student as the credit is redeemable directly from the University Co-op.
*The University Co-op Course Material Scholarship cannot be used toward Longhorn gear.
